[UPI News] – LIVERPOOL, England, Aug. 7 (UPI) — An arson spree in the Anfield neighborhood of Liverpool, England, Wednesday morning damaged six cars and a house, police said.A police spokesman said the fires were extinguished by residents before fire fighters arrived, and were apparently deliberately started with the use of a chemical accelerant.Sections of local roads were cordoned off in the area, and scorch marks could be seen on the side of a house, the Liverpool Echo reported.
